Industry & Applied Experience

Advisory Member

Root Dynamix, LLC (current)

Advisory member of a complex-systems solutions company founded by Dr. C. Tyler Diggans, my long-standing research collaborator and co-author. Root Dynamix builds tools that take ideas from complex-systems science into deployable technology, organized around four capabilities:

  • Synchronized: synchronization across distributed nodes through peer-to-peer (P2P) communication, keeping independent agents coordinated without a central clock or controller.
  • Symbolized: information-dense symbolization of continuous, dynamic data, compressing rich signals into compact symbolic representations that preserve their essential information content.
  • Supplied: minimum-cost-flow and fiber-bundle modeling of software-defined-network (SDN) systems, optimizing how resources and traffic move through a network.
  • Secured: chaos-based end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for secure communications, using the unpredictability of chaotic dynamics to protect data in transit.

As advisor, I contribute on the mathematics of information, causality, and complex networks that underpins these capabilities.

Co-Founder & R&D Engineer

GAAS (Genetic Algorithms Application Space), Jordan (2010–2015)

Built cost-effective hardware and optimization software for Building Management Systems, HVAC control, and home automation. Engineered global-optimization algorithms (genetic algorithms and metaheuristics) for production planning, power consumption, transportation, project management, and scheduling, including a novel genetic algorithm for chemical-industry production scheduling that improved efficiency and reduced costs.
